It’s time for the Advertising Club Convention – Antique Trader | Candle Made Easy

Paul Lefkovitz has been a member of the Antique Advertising Association of America for almost thirty years. He has been responsible for the group’s annual meeting since 2014. For the past two years, these conventions have been a Zoom celebration of virtual fun.

Thanks pandemic!

But this summer is different. For the first time since 2019, the AAAA Convention will take place in person.

“What a concept!” says Lefkovitz, with a touch of weary sarcasm and a sincere nostalgia for the simple pleasure of finally reconnecting with hundreds of his closest advertising-loving friends. “There is a lot of excitement and anticipation surrounding the event. People missed it.”

The AAAA is America’s largest club for collectors of all popular and antique advertising. The meeting will be held at the Embassy Suites in Dublin, Ohio, a suburb of Columbus, from Wednesday evening, July 13 through Saturday morning, July 16. There is a registration fee of $125 per person for the entire convention for meals and events. On Friday 15th July a free show, auction and sale will be open to the public with no registration required. A silent auction begins at 1:00 p.m. and the sale runs from 3:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., with a break from 6:00 p.m. to 7:15 p.m
